👶 Children & Teens services

Confidence starts here — we help young people grow, learn, and believe in themselves.

School Hallway Interaction

Mind & Body
Therapeutic Support

Supporting children and teens to understand their emotions, regulate their nervous system, and build confidence through calm, therapeutic care. Supports: • Emotional regulation and calming strategies • Anxiety, anger, and overwhelm • Self-esteem and confidence • Challenging behaviour and emotional outbursts • School stress, family change, and transitions. Mind & Body Therapeutic Support is an emotionally led service helping young people understand their thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical responses. When emotions feel overwhelming, they can show up as anxiety, anger, shutdown, school refusal, or challenging behaviour. Sessions are calm and guided by each child’s readiness. Through conversation, emotional education, grounding, and gentle body-based techniques, children develop emotional awareness, regulation skills, resilience, and confidence. This service focuses on creating emotional safety — not fixing behaviour — so children feel more secure at home, school, and socially. Price: £40 per session

Therapy Session Interaction

Hypnotherapy
(Optional VR Support)

A gentle, relaxation-based therapy supporting emotional regulation, anxiety reduction, and confidence in children and teens. Supports: • Anxiety, worries, and fears • Emotional overwhelm • Confidence and self-belief • Sleep difficulties • Emotional regulation Hypnotherapy for children is a gentle, relaxation-based therapeutic approach designed to calm the nervous system and support emotional regulation. It is not sleep, not mind control, and not something being done to the child. Children remain fully awake, aware, and in control throughout the session. When guided into a relaxed state, the body moves out of stress response and into safety. In this state, the mind becomes more receptive to calming language, reassurance, and confidence-building suggestions. This allows children to practise feeling calm and emotionally regulated internally. At Unity Heart, hypnotherapy works with the heart–brain–body connection. Optional VR can be used to create soothing visual environments, particularly helpful for children who struggle to relax through imagination alone. Deep relaxation supports emotional regulation, anxiety reduction, and confidence building. Price: £70 per session

Therapy Band Exercise

Personal
Training

Confidence-building personal training that uses movement to support emotional release, body awareness, and healthy self-belief in children and teens. Supports: • Confidence and self-esteem • Emotional release and regulation • Focus, routine, and motivation • Body awareness and coordination • Positive relationship with movement Personal Training for children and teens is a supportive, confidence-building service that uses movement as a healthy outlet for emotional expression and physical development. This is not performance-based training and does not involve pressure or comparison. Instead, movement is used to help children feel strong, capable, and connected to their bodies. Many children carry stress, frustration, or emotional energy physically. Structured, age-appropriate movement allows this energy to be released safely while also improving coordination, balance, and focus. Sessions are encouraging, adapted to the child’s needs, and designed to feel enjoyable and empowering. As confidence in the body grows, children often show improvements in emotional regulation, focus, self-belief, and engagement in other areas of life. Regular physical activity supports mood regulation, confidence, emotional resilience, and nervous system balance in children and young people. Price: £50 per session

Mentor/Tutor
in Schools

Targeted emotional regulation and SEN support that improves engagement, behaviour, and learning outcomes. Outcomes for Schools and Pupils. By addressing emotional regulation first, Unity Heart supports improved: • Engagement in learning • Behaviour and emotional regulation • Attendance and school readiness • Confidence and self-belief • Relationships with staff and peers • Long-term learning outcomes Unity Heart works in partnership with schools, SEN settings, alternative provisions, and education professionals to support emotional regulation as the foundation for learning, behaviour, and engagement. Our approach recognises that many learning, attendance, and behavioural challenges stem from unmet emotional and nervous system needs rather than a lack of ability or willingness to learn. Support is tailored to the individual pupil, setting, and school priorities, and can be delivered one-to-one or in small groups, either in school or within alternative provision environments. Our work complements existing SEN, pastoral, and safeguarding frameworks, providing additional capacity and specialist emotional support where it is most needed. Our Approach We take an emotionally led, trauma-aware, and neuro-affirming approach, supporting pupils who may present with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, school refusal, low confidence, or disengagement from learning. Emotional regulation is prioritised first, as a regulated pupil is better able to engage with learning, relationships, and expectations. Support focuses on building emotional safety, trust, and consistency. Once pupils feel safe and supported, we work to gradually rebuild confidence, routine, and readiness for learning.
